Faith Builders
Also called “Faith Builders”, this is a course on the key concepts and teachings of the Bible. It is intended for those interested in becoming a member at First Evan or for anyone wishing to build his or her faith by studying the basics of Christian doctrine. This class is taught by the pastors at various times throughout the year.
When someone completes this course they can be accepted into membership by adult confirmation. Adult Confirmation is a short set of questions and promises made in front of the congregation. After adult confirmation the confirmand is invited to participate in the Lord’s Supper. The Lord’s Supper or ” Holy Communion” is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month.
